Megan Moves loves creating and sharing videos that highlight some of the hidden details that people might not know about Florida. She said, "I started to realize that whenever I was going to travel somewhere, I like to look up videos to see what are some features or highlights that I needed to see whenever I was in the area. It really started to make me realize how important local videos are overshadowed if they are specific to an area that doesn't get a lot of recognition. I think a lot of new places and hidden gems that aren't necessarily known about can start to be visited and seen in more detail. I think that is where the NewsBreak app can come in and really start to make a difference."
Kels Acosta is a content creator based in New York City. He believes the challenge for creators is that there are not enough platforms to display their talent at a high level. “The amount of time a creator spends brainstorming, planning, filming and editing to have fifty people see your video, it's kind of hard to sell to those who are looking to start their journey,” Kels said. So far, his NewsBreak experience is quite amazing. All the hard work he has put in over the years is now paying off.
Photographer and videographer from Arizona, Mirza Hamzic, has been recording his experiences since 2017. He really started taking it more serious in 2019 when he uploaded his travels through Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia. In less than a month, his ten videos on NewsBreak have received half a million impressions and over 50,000 video views.
